Update on Article Processing Charges (APC) (Effective to all manuscripts submitted after 31 December 2025)
While our journal continues to receive financial support from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, rising operational costs necessitate an adjustment to our Author Fees policy. To ensure the continued sustainability and high-quality standards of the journal, we are introducing a revised fee structure.
Upon acceptance, authors are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 2,000,000. This fee supports:
Peer Review Administration: Management and coordination of the review process.
Production: Professional formatting and publication of articles in PDF and other digital formats.
Dissemination: Distribution to major indexing and abstracting databases.
Operations: General publishing and archival maintenance.
We remain committed to accessibility and fairness. Therefore:
There are no fees for manuscript submission.
There are no charges for rejected articles.
There are no surcharges based on article length, number of figures, or supplementary data.
Specific article types (e.g., Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments) remain free of charge.
To foster global research collaboration, we offer the following fee adjustments:
Full Waiver: Fees are waived for articles where the first author is affiliated with an institution outside of Indonesia.
Discounts: Reduced fees are available for manuscripts co-authored by researchers from international institutions.
These changes apply to all manuscripts submitted after 31 December 2025.
