Manuscript Formatting for Submission

Initial Submission (Format-Free)

ADS supports a format-free submission policy for initial manuscripts. Authors may submit their work in any reasonable academic format, provided that the manuscript is complete, clearly structured, and scientifically sound.

To facilitate efficient peer review, the following minimum requirements must be met:

  • Manuscript text must be clear, legible, and logically organized (e.g., Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion).
  • Continuous line numbering must be included.
  • Text should use double line spacing and adequate margins (≥2.5 cm on all sides).
  • Pages should be numbered consecutively.
  • Figures and tables must be properly labeled and cited in the text.
  • References must be complete, consistent, and formatted in a recognized scholarly style.
  • All essential sections (e.g., Conflict of Interest, Funding, Author Contributions where applicable) must be included in the title page.

Submissions that do not meet basic readability or completeness standards may be returned to authors prior to peer review.

Revised Submission (Template Required)

For revised manuscripts, authors are required to strictly follow the official ADS article template. This includes formatting, section structure, reference style, figure and table presentation, and all journal-specific requirements.

Adherence to the journal template at the revision stage ensures consistency, facilitates editorial processing, and significantly accelerates production and publication.

Revised submissions that do not conform to the required template may be returned for correction before further evaluation or acceptance.
