Advanced Drug Sciences (ADS) is an international, peer-reviewed Gold Open Access journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing the science of drug discovery, development, and therapeutic application by publishing high-quality, original, and interdisciplinary research.

ADS provides a multidisciplinary platform that integrates pharmaceutical, biomedical, and clinical sciences, with a strong emphasis on mechanistic understanding, technological innovation, and translational relevance.

The journal aims to bridge the continuum from molecular design and formulation to clinical outcomes and population-level health impact.

The journal operates under a Gold Open Access model, ensuring that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently accessible without subscription barriers. Articles are published under a continuous publication model to enable rapid dissemination of scientific findings.

ADS welcomes contributions that advance both fundamental knowledge and practical applications in drug sciences, including, but not limited to, drug discovery and medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics and advanced drug delivery, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology-derived therapeutics, and clinical and translational research.

Reviewer Registration

Advanced Drug Sciences (ADS) invites qualified researchers to contribute to the journal’s peer review process. Reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the scientific quality, integrity, and credibility of published research.

The journal seeks to develop a diverse and internationally representative reviewer pool with expertise across key areas of drug sciences. Reviewer appointments are based on academic qualifications, research experience, and subject expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide timely, objective, and constructive evaluation of submitted manuscripts
Maintain confidentiality of all manuscript materials

Provide clear and evidence-based recommendations to the editorial team

Eligibility Criteria

PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (pharmacy, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, nanomedicine, or related disciplines)
At least 2–3 peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals
Demonstrated expertise aligned with the journal scope
Commitment to ethical and responsible peer review
Early-career researchers with strong publication potential are encouraged to apply.
