Advanced Drug Sciences (ADS) is an international, peer-reviewed Gold Open Access journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing the science of drug discovery, development, and therapeutic application by publishing high-quality, original, and interdisciplinary research.

ADS provides a multidisciplinary platform that integrates pharmaceutical, biomedical, and clinical sciences, with a strong emphasis on mechanistic understanding, technological innovation, and translational relevance.

The journal aims to bridge the continuum from molecular design and formulation to clinical outcomes and population-level health impact.

The journal operates under a Gold Open Access model, ensuring that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently accessible without subscription barriers. Articles are published under a continuous publication model to enable rapid dissemination of scientific findings.

ADS welcomes contributions that advance both fundamental knowledge and practical applications in drug sciences, including, but not limited to, drug discovery and medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics and advanced drug delivery, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology-derived therapeutics, and clinical and translational research.

Through rigorous peer review and adherence to internationally recognized ethical standards, ADS is committed to publishing scientifically robust research that contributes to innovation in drug development and the improvement of global healthcare outcomes.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission File Requirements:

Manuscript (Blinded): The main document without author names or affiliations
Title Page: Includes author details, affiliations, and corresponding author information, and ORCID IDs (Mandatory for corresponding author but recommended for all authors)
Cover Letter: Explains the significance and originality/novelty of the work
Figures: High-resolution images (≥300 dpi) in JPEG/PNG/TIFF
Tables: Editable format (not images)

All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, including for commercial purposes, provided the original work is properly cited.
