About the Journal
Indigenous: Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi is a media for Psychology and other related disciplines which focus on the finding of indigenous research. Indigenous is peer-reviewed scientific journal in psychology. All empirical based studies are welcome to published, especially with topics related to indigenous and/or islamic values. Each article will pass through a thorough selection from the editorial board and a blind peer-review process.
All work in the submitted manuscript should be free of any types of plagiarism, falsification, fabrication, or omission of significant material. Editors screen all submitted articles/manuscripts with plagiarism checker software (Turnitin).
Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta as publisher of Indigenous: Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and Editorial Board will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.
Strating from 2021, Indigenous publishes articles in English three times a year around March, July, and November, by Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Indigenous is available in printed-out and electronic version.
Indigenous has also been indexed and abstracted in various indexing database such as DOAJ, Sinta, Google Scholar, Dimensions, and GARUDA
Prospective authors should consult the author guidelines or the provided template prior to submitting their works. All submissions are double blind reviewed by peer reviewers.
This journal is also collaborating with Esoterik: Jurnal Akhlak dan Tasawuf in terms of sharing knowledge in Journal Management and Publishing.
