Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The manuscript adheres to the journal template.
  • Cover Letter to be submitted [Required]
  • Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) to be submitted [Required]
  • Where available, DOI/URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • All Figures and Tables are in high-resolution and Informative submitted as supplementary materials. Please ensure that all tables and charts are editable and presented in grayscale format.
  • The manuscript is free from any plagiarized content.
  • The manuscript is well-referenced, with a minimum of 35 references, of which at least 80% are sourced from recent (within last 10 years) and reputable journal articles.
  • The authors(s) aware with our Retraction, Withdrawl, and Correction policy.

  • The authors are committed to following the peer review process and agree to revise their manuscript within a maximum of two weeks. Failure to do so may result in rejection by the editor.
  • The author(s) agree to pay the APC.
  • The Author(s) know before-hand that there isn't any Fast Track Route in Indigenous Journal

Author Guidelines

Steps for Submitting Manuscripts

  1. Authors should register and check the author column on the registration page.
  2. After logging in, click New Submission. The stages of article submission are as follows:
    • In the Start section, complete all the checklists, then click save and continue.
    • In the Upload Submission section, upload the article manuscript file in MS Word format. Then click save and continue.
    • In the Enter Metadata section, enter the data of all the authors and affiliates. If there is more than one author, click add author, then fill in their data the same way as the first author, and so on. Next, fill in the title, abstract, keywords, research methods, and bibliography in each available column.
    • In the Upload Supplementary Files section, it is permissible to upload supporting files, Cover Letters, Ethical Clearance, Copyright Transfer Agreement signed by Corresponding Author, Prisma Checklist (Systematic Literature Review), Strobe (Article Research Text), or any other documents.
    • In the Confirmation section, click Finish Submission if all the data are correct.

if the three required files are not included in the submission, authors will be asked to provide the missing documentations

The Manuscripts

  1. The manuscripts represent academic research in Psychology discipline or an equivalent research results (findings) in psychology, preferably about local cultural values. It should contribute novelty or state-of-the-art for academic development or real-world application or both. The sentences should be plain and straightforward to avoid ambiguities.
  2. Articles must be written in English on A4 paper, at least 16 pages long, and include an abstract (200–250 words) and keywords.

Structure of the manuscripts

  1. Title. The title should be clear and informative but does not exceed 12 words.
  2. Author's names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions and an email account, without any academic title.
  3. Abstract and keywords. The abstract should be around 200 to 250 words. The keywords should be of 3 to 5 words or phrases.
  4. Introduction. The introduction consists of several paragraphs that contain: the problem under study, the importance of the problem to be investigated, a review of relevant literature, hypotheses or research questions. It should be written without numbers and/or pointers.
  5. Methods. The research method in a quantitative approach covers: a description of the identification and definition of operational variables; population, sample, and sampling techniques; data collection methods and tools; instrument validation; and data analysis methods. The research method in the qualitative approach includes: an explanation of the form of the qualitative approach undertaken; research participants; data collection methods and tools; and data analysis methods.
  6. Results and discussion. This section explains the findings of the study and discuss the results with relevant literature.
  7. Conclusion. This section concludes and provides practical, theoretical, or policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusion(s) should be at the same order with ones discussed in the body of the manuscript.
  8. References. This section lists only the papers, books, or other types of publications referred in the body of the manuscript. It should include minimal 35 references with 80% of the reference lists is from journal articles and published no less that 10 years. Please use references manager to organize your references, such as: Mendeley, Zotero, Endnote.

Specific writing format

  1. Any table should contain only heading and contents or follow the international standard. Please provide only the top and bottom lines, along with the line(s) that separate the heading and the contents. Note(s) and source(s) should be included underneath the table if appropriate.
  2. References, Tables, and Figures should be written in American Psychological Association (APA) Format
