Errata and Corrigenda

1. Changes or Additions to Accepted Articles

All articles accepted for publication in Suhuf remain subject to editorial oversight. Authors wishing to add, revise, or replace any content after acceptance must submit a formal request to the Editor. The proposed changes will be evaluated to determine their significance and the appropriate editorial action.

Substantial new material that extends the original article must be submitted as a separate manuscript, undergo the journal’s peer-review process, and clearly refer to the original publication. If the proposed change is intended to correct or replace content in the accepted or published article, the Editor may determine that an erratum or corrigendum is required.

2. Erratum

An erratum is issued to correct an error introduced by the journal or publisher during editing, production, formatting, or publication. Authors are expected to review the proofs carefully and report any production-related errors before final publication. If such an error is identified after publication, Suhuf may publish an erratum to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

3. Corrigendum

A corrigendum is issued to correct an error originating from the author that is identified after the article has been accepted or published. Authors must promptly notify the Editor and clearly explain the nature and implications of the requested correction.

The Editor will assess whether the correction affects the article’s interpretation, findings, conclusions, or academic integrity and will determine the appropriate editorial action. Minor corrections that do not affect the scholarly content may be handled administratively, while substantive corrections may require the publication of a formal corrigendum or other action consistent with the journal’s publication ethics policy.
