Article Processing Charge

Suhuf: International Journal of Islamic Studies applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 3,000,000 per accepted article.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication. No fee is charged at the submission or peer-review stage, and payment of the APC does not influence the journal’s editorial decisions. Authors should make payment only after receiving an official acceptance letter and payment instructions from the journal.

The APC covers services required to prepare an accepted article for publication, including:

APC Discount Policy

Suhuf provides the following APC discounts:

1. International Co-authorship Discount – 10%
   An accepted article that includes at least one author with a valid institutional affiliation outside Indonesia is eligible for a 10% discount. The APC payable after the discount is IDR 2,700,000.

2. Scopus H-index Discount – 50%
   An accepted article that includes at least one author with a Scopus H-index of 15 or higher is eligible for a 50% discount. The APC payable after the discount is IDR 1,500,000.

Discount Terms and Verification

• The eligibility of authors and affiliations will be verified after the manuscript has been accepted.

• An international affiliation must be officially listed in the manuscript and the journal’s submission system.

• The Scopus H-index will be verified through the author’s official Scopus profile.

• All listed authors must have made a genuine scholarly contribution to the article. Adding an author solely to obtain an APC discount constitutes a violation of publication ethics.

• The two discounts are not cumulative. If an article qualifies for both discounts, only the highest applicable discount of 50% will be granted.

• APC discounts do not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

• The journal reserves the right to reject a discount request if the information provided cannot be verified.
