Journal Business Model

The JRAMathEdu (Journal of Research and Advances in Mathematics Education) is a free, open-access (OA) international journal that promotes accessibility and use worldwide, serving the professional and scientific communities, as well as the broader community. Because there are no fees charged for access, JRAMathEdu offsets the cost of publication (including the costs of peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving) by charging article processing charges (APC) to authors, institutions, or funders for each published article.

Article Submission Charge (ASC)

Article Submission: 0.00 (USD/IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Starting from the 2026 publication, we are implementing a new policy regarding article publishing fees to improve the quality of journal management as follows:

Article Publication: USD 200.00 (Foreign authors) 

                                   IDR 2.500.000 (Indonesian authors)

The journal charges an article publication fee to support the cost of wide-open access dissemination of research results, as well as to cover the various costs associated with handling and editing submitted manuscripts, proofreading, and general journal management and publication. The authors or the author's institution is requested to pay a publication fee for each article accepted. If the manuscript is not accepted, the author does not pay any fee and may send the manuscript to any other journals. 

APC Waiver Policy

The journal waives the article processing charge (APC) for the following conditions:

1. The manuscript with authors from at least three countries

2. First or corresponding author with h-index Scopus or WoS >=15

3. Authors from low-income countries: USD 0.00 (free APC)

Author(s) should apply for a publication fee waiver by filling in the comments for the editor simultaneously with the manuscript submission.
