Open Acces Policy and License

All research articles published in the journal ARSTech are entirely open access: read, print, and distribute instantly freely. We are working continuously with our authoring communities to select the best choice of license options, currently described as follows for this journal Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) version 4.0.

Authors and readers can copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, as well as remix, transform and expand on the material for any reason, even commercially, but they must offer adequate credit (cite the article or content), include a connection to the license and indicate if any changes have been created. You will distribute the contributions under the same license as the original if you update, turn or expand on the content.

Description of Bethesda Open Access Publication Statement on Open Access Publishing: An Open Access Publication [1] fulfils the following two conditions:

  1. The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access and license to freely copy, use, distribute, transmit and view the work, and to make and distribute derivative works for any responsible purpose in any digital medium, subject to proper attribution and the right to make limited numbers of printed copies for personal use.
  2. A full version of the work and all additional content, including a copy of the permission as mentioned above, in an appropriate standard electronic format shall be deposited in at least one online repository immediately upon initial publication that is sponsored by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency or other well-established organization that aims to enable open access, unlimited dissemination, interoperability and long-term archiving (for the biomedical sciences, PubMed Central is such a repository).
