Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Penelitian Sains Teknologi is committed to ensuring the originality and integrity of all published works. Plagiarism in any form is considered unethical and unacceptable. The journal applies strict plagiarism screening procedures to maintain high academic standards and publication ethics.
1. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

Self-plagiarism, including redundant or duplicate publication of the author’s own previously published work

2. Plagiarism Screening Process
All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software prior to the peer-review process.
The journal applies the following similarity criteria:

Overall similarity index must not exceed 25%

Similarity from a single source must not exceed 5%
Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without further review.
3. Handling Plagiarism Cases
If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the publication process:
