Objective: This study aims to comprehensively analyze the strategy of integrating religious moderation values in the learning of Akidah Akhlak and examine its impact on the formation of the character of students who are tolerant, inclusive, and with noble morals in the context of a pluralistic society in Indonesia. Theoretical framework: This study uses the concept of religious moderation, which includes tolerance, justice, balance, and national commitment associated with character education, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 4 and SDG 16. Literature review: A literature review discusses the importance of religious moderation, the phenomenon of intolerance in the younger generation, and the role of moral faith education in shaping moderate character. Methods: The method used is a qualitative literature study with thematic content analysis supported by secondary quantitative data from national surveys. Results: The results of the study show that the systematic integration of religious moderation values through a multidimensional pedagogical approach has significant potential in improving the moderate and inclusive attitude of students. The main supporting factors include teacher professionalism, institutional commitment, and a conducive school environment, while the main challenges stem from the influence of external discourse outside the school and limited resources. Implications: This study emphasizes the importance of integrating religious moderation to prevent radicalism and strengthen social cohesion. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in a comprehensive data-based pedagogical approach to learning Akidah Akhlak.
