Publication Ethics for Journal Editors
Editors are responsible for everything published in the journal after obtaining approval from the editorial board. Editors must also gauge the quality of material they receive for the journal and be willing to publish corrections and clarifications when necessary, including legal requirements related to defamation, intellectual property, and plagiarism.
- Editors must act fairly in the performance of their duties, without discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious or political beliefs.
- Members of the editorial team must not disclose any information related to the article without the author's consent.
- Editors should return articles immediately if any article fails to be published in this journal and not use them for personal purposes.
- Editors should provide guidance to authors and reviewers on everything that is expected of them.
Publication Ethics for Reviewers
- Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions on submitted papers/articles.
- Reviewers are responsible for feedback and recommendations.
- Reviewers provide reviews objectively and supported by clear arguments.
- Reviewers are responsible for citations, references, and plagiarism for the reviewed article.
- Reviewers maintain confidentiality of information for personal interests.
The Responsibilities of Authors
- Authors should present their scientific articles honestly and without plagiarism and data manipulation.
- Authors must meet publication requirements in the form of originality of work, not plagiarism, and the paper/article has not been published in other journals or publications.
- Authors must show references to the opinions and works of others quoted.
- Authors write papers or articles ethically, honestly, and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing rules.
- Authors are prohibited from submitting/publishing the same article in several journals or publications.
- The author approves the article through an editing process that maintains the substance and basic idea of the writing.
- Authors are responsible for information or statements related to the article that has been submitted.
