ABSTRACT
Amputation is the act of separating part of the body or all of the extremities. Amputation in the lower body often occurs, one of which is Transfemoral amputation. Amputation affects the psychology of post-amputation patients and patients must also be able to adapt, both to their physical condition and to their environment. In the field of Orthotic Prosthetics, the handling of post-Transfemoral amputation cases is using Transfemoral Prosthesis. Transfemoral prosthesis is a replacement device for lost lower limbs. Prosthesis users may experience both psychological and physical obstacles in living their daily lives. The purpose of this activity is to provide education and assistance for transfemoral prosthesis to 2 patients after upper limb amputation. The benefits of this activity are expected that recipients of Transfemoral prosthesis assistance can carry out walking activities and other activities and increase the motivation of patient independence. The method of this community service activity is carried out by the direct practice method of making transfemoral prosthesis to patients after lower limb amputation starting from the assessment, measurement, casting, fabrication, fitting and delivery of transfemoral prosthesis. The result of providing this device is that the patient can walk well and carry out daily activities independently.
