EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN DENGUE DAN PEMANFAATAN TANAMAN PENGUSIR NYAMUK BAGI PEKERJA PERTAMANAN HOTEL DI KAWASAN PARIWISATA

Infeksi dengue masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang menguakitrkan baik pada masyarakat escara umum maupun wisatawan yang berlibur di Bali secara khusus. Mitra adalah pekerja peertamanan di kawasan hotel di Nusa Dua yang memiliki permasalahan berupa kurangnya pemahaman tentang penyakit demam dengue, identifikasi tempat perindukan nyamuk serta pemanfaatan tanaman pengusir nyamuk Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pekerja pertamanan hotel dalam pencegahan dengue melalui pendekatan edukasi berbasis lingkungan. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, pelatihan budidaya tanaman pengusir nyamuk, serta pemberian bibit dan suplemen kesehatan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam menerapkan pencegahan dengue secara praktis di area kerja. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi terpadu dan budidaya tanaman pengusir nyamuk efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran mitra serta mendorong keberlanjutan upaya pengendalian dengue berbasis lingkungan.
