Focus and Scope

Jurnal Teknologi Bahan Alam published biannually (April and October), is a peer-reviewed open-access journal organised by Chemical Engineering Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta Indonesia. Jurnal Teknologi Bahan Alam publishes papers relating to the utilization of natural resources, including exploration, exploitation, case studies, and evaluation of environmental and socio-ecological aspects. Jurnal Teknologi Bahan Alam is free and open-access to encourages sharing knowledge and discoveries among engineers, scientist, academicians, researchers, and practitioners.

The journal invites submissions that aim to present novel concepts and advancements in the domain of natural resource technology, either through original research or review articles.

The topics covered by the journal include but are not limited to:

1. Natural resources technology.
2. Food and pharmaceutical technology.
3. Natural exploration, exploitation, and evaluation.
4. Natural resources conservation.
5. Energy from biomass, such as biodiesel, bioethanol and biohydrogen productions.
6. Advanced material from natural resources.
7. Process production of essential oils, natural dyes, and textile.
