Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. The article is written in English within MS word format and follows the rules of academic writing and standard grammar (See template)

2. The paper format should follow the IMRaD (Introduction, Method, Result, and Discussion)

3. The substance should follow the rules below:

  • Title ( is written with a capital, on the top center on the first page; concise and to the point; maximal 15 words)
  • The author’s name ( without academic title) should be accompanied by the author's institutions. One of the authors should be identified as the corresponding author.
  • If an article is written in Indonesian abstract must be written in two versions of Indonesian and English. As for articles written in English, simply write abstracts in English. Abstract consist of 150-300 words. This should provide clear and accurate information and contains background, gap analysis, objectives, methods, results or findings, the conclusion of the research, and the contribution of the findings to the current knowledge.
  • Keywords consist of 3-5 words/phrases, arranged appropriately with the alphabet.
  • Introduction (without subtitle) consists of background, research gap, the importance of the study, and research objectives (without numbering)
  • The method consists of the materials and procedure, including the equipment used. For materials, please provide details of the manufacture and purity of materials e.g. Fe(NO3)3.9H2O (99% purity Merck, Germany) was employed as iron oxide precursor
  • Results and discussion contain findings of the research and their discussion. All findings must be supported by sufficient data. Results can be presented as figure or as table (see Template). Discussion must compare the data with previous studies, show the limitation of the study, and present the significance of the findings
  • Conclusion should emphasize the major interpretations and conclusions of the paper as well as their significance. The conclusion must correspond to the objective of the research. Provide a statement that what is expected, as stated in the "Introduction" chapter can ultimately result in the "Results and Discussion" chapter, so there is compatibility. Moreover, it can also be added to the prospect of the development of research results and application prospects of further studies into the next .
  • Acknowledgment (if applicable) is used to give credit to institutions, organizations, or people who support the study in the form of funding support or any other type of support. The grant number of financial support must be provided.
  • The bibliography is written using APA style format 7th edition. The authors should also use reference manager software such as Mendeley to arrange the bibliography. All articles and online references must include the DOI or URL.
