Focus And Scope

The focus and scope of Jurnal Penelitian Tindakan Pendidikan covers the fields of empirical studies on action research in education.  The Journal welcomes research articles focusing on the following topics (but not limited):

 

Classroom Action Research (CAR)

CAR is research conducted in the classroom to improve the quality of teaching learning process. CAR has important roles in education since it can improve teachers’ teaching quality, improve students’ behavior, enhance teachers’ creativity, train teachers to be a reliable problem solver and build teachers’ self confidence. Therefore, JPTP is committing to publish studies in CAR in support of improving teacher professional development.

 

School Action Research (SAR)
SAR is research conducted by the Principal or the School Supervisor. The focus of this research is on clinical academic supervision including the teaching learning process carried out by the teachers. SAR has a significant role in education since it can improve not only academic condition of the teachers but also managerial skill of the Principals. Hence, JPTP is committing to publish studies in SAR in support of improving the quality of school academic atmosphere.

 

Best Practice in School Management (BPSM)
BPSM is research conducted by the Principal, School Supervisor or Teacher. The focus of this research is to describe the success of best practice academic supervision, including the teaching and learning process carried out by teachers. BPSM has an important role in education because it can not only improve the academic condition of teachers but also the managerial ability of the Principal or School Supervisor for their success. Therefore, JPTP is committed to publishing studies at BPSM in support of improving the quality of the school's academic atmosphere and enhancing teacher professional development.
