Abstract

Di Indonesia, fandom K-pop telah menunjukkan keterlibatan nyata dalam berbagai isu publik seperti dalam penolakan RUU Cipta Kerja, kampanye #TolakPPN12Persen, gerakan #IndonesiaGelap dan #PeringatanDarurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana aktivitas digital fandom K-pop berkontribusi dalam membentuk narasi nasionalisme digital di media sosial. Aktivitas digital fandom K-pop dikaji dalam kerangka budaya partisipatif (participatory culture). Fandom K-Pop dipandang bukan hanya sekadar komunitas hiburan melainkan sebagai sebagai aktor sosial  yang aktif berpartisipasi dalam membincangkan demokrasi di ruang digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana aktivitas digital fandom K-pop berkontribusi dalam membentuk narasi nasionalisme digital di media sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mix methods dengan paradigma pragmatis. Netnografi dilakukan melalui observasi komunitas daring, wawancara mendalam, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dengan anggota fandom yang aktif pada kampanye digital bertema kebangsaan. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari kuesioner daring yang diolah menggunakan teknik text mining dan model klasterisasi teks.  Hasil analisis data ditemukan tiga klaster utama dengan kata-kata dominan seperti retweet, suara, bangga, budaya, donasi, dan konser. Kata-kata tersebut merefleksikan dimensi afiliasi, ekspresi, pemecahan masalah kolektif, dan sirkulasi yang muncul dalam partisipasi digital fandom. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa fandom K-pop di Indonesia berperan sebagai agen partisipatif yang memanfaatkan ruang digital untuk menyuarakan kepedulian sosial, solidaritas nasional, serta kebanggaan budaya Indonesia, sehingga membentuk narasi nasionalisme digital yang inklusif, kolaboratif, dan relevan dengan konteks masyarakat masa kini.

In Indonesia, the K-pop fandom has demonstrated tangible involvement in various public issues, ranging from the rejection of the RUU Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja and the #TolakPPN12Persen campaign, to the #IndonesiaGelap (Indonesia is Dark) and #PeringatanDarurat movements. This digital activism illustrates that the K-pop fandom is no longer merely an entertainment community, but a new social actor that also influences democracy in the digital space. This research aims to explain how the digital activity of the K-pop fandom contributes to shaping the narrative of digital nationalism on social media. The research method uses a mixed-methods approach with a pragmatic paradigm. Qualitatively, the study utilizes netnography through online community observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) with fandom members who are active in digital campaigns with national themes. Quantitatively, data from online questionnaires are analyzed using text mining techniques and a text clustering model. The initial analysis found three main clusters with dominant words such as retweet, suara, bangga, budaya, donasi, and konser. These words reflect the dimensions of affiliation, expression, collective problem-solving, and circulation that emerge in the fandom's digital participation. The study shows that K-pop fandoms in Indonesia function as participatory agents who utilize digital spaces to express social concern, foster national solidarity, and showcase pride in Indonesian culture, thereby shaping a digital nationalism narrative that is inclusive, collaborative, and relevant to contemporary society.
