Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Thank you for your trust in submitting your manuscript to Jurnal Komuniti. The following guidelines are prepared to help authors understand and fulfill important provisions in the manuscript submission process. Compliance with these guidelines will support the smooth process of review, production, and publication. Therefore, we encourage authors to read and comply with these instructions carefully so that the submitted manuscript is in accordance with the standards and conditions set by Jurnal Komuniti.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (preferred), OpenOffice, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

WRITING GUIDELINES

1.⁠ ⁠The manuscript is the result of research in the field of communication science. Use appropriate theories or concepts.

2.⁠ ⁠Manuscripts must be original and have never been published in journals or other publishing media.

3.⁠ ⁠The manuscript must be organized with the following components in order: title, Name, Institutional Origin, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (including funding), References.

4.⁠ ⁠Manuscript length between 5,000 to 7,000 words (including title, abstract, keywords, bibliography, figures, and tables).

5.⁠ ⁠Abstract consists of 250 words.

6.⁠ ⁠The manuscript is written in Microsoft Word (.doc) file format with the following conditions:

  • A4 paper size (210x297 mm)
  • Times New Roman font, 12 pts
  • Spacing 1.5
  • Margin limits: left and top 3 cm, right and bottom 2 cm.

7.⁠ ⁠Manuscript submission can only be done through the official website of Jurnal Komuniti (https://journals2.ums.ac.id/index.php/komuniti)

8.⁠ ⁠Before submitting a manuscript, authors must carefully read the general guidelines determined by Jurnal Komuniti.
