Abstract

Pendahuluan: Rekam medis adalah berkas yang berisi catatan dan dokumen mengenai identitas pasien, pemeriksaan, pengobatan, prosedur, dan layanan lain yang diberikan oleh fasilitas kesehatan kepada pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sifat deskriptif manajemen layanan di unit rekam medis Rumah Sakit Umum Swasta Montella Meulaboh, Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel total, yaitu 5 informan. Hasil: Jumlah personel rekam medis sudah mencukupi tetapi dari segi kualitas belum mampu menyelesaikan masalah secara optimal. Implementasi rekam medis di RSUS Montella belum berjalan dengan baik karena masih terdapat rekam medis yang tidak lengkap, penyediaan berkas rekam medis masih tampak lambat meskipun aplikasi SIMRS telah digunakan untuk menyimpan data pasien, beberapa masalah masih ditemukan, yang memperlambat pencarian berkas rekam medis di rak yang tersedia. Kesimpulan: Meningkatkan jumlah petugas rekam medis dengan latar belakang pendidikan sesuai standar yang ditetapkan, memberikan pelatihan dan pendidikan yang dibutuhkan mengenai rekam medis kepada petugas yang ada, meningkatkan fasilitas dan infrastruktur untuk mendukung rekam medis sesuai standar yang ditetapkan.

 

 

Introduction: Medical records are files that contain notes and documents regarding patient identity, examinations, treatment, procedures and other services provided by health care facilities to patients. This study aims to look at the descriptive nature of service management in the medical records unit of the Montella Meulaboh Private General Hospital, West Aceh Regency. Method: This research was conducted qualitatively with a sampling technique using a total sampling method, namely 5 informants. Results: Medical records personnel are sufficient in number but in terms of quality they are not able to solve problems optimally. The implementation of medical records at RSUS Montella has not been running properly because there are still incomplete medical record records, the provision of medical record files still seems slow even though the SIMRS application has been used to store patient data, several problems are still found, which slows down the search for medical record files on the shelvesavailable.Conclusion: Increasing the number of medical records officers with educational backgrounds according to predetermined standards, providing the required training and education regarding medical records to existing officers, increasing the facilities and infrastructure to support medical records required according to predetermined standards.
