Peer Review Process
General Rules
- The journal accepts only original and unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration in other journals.
- All submitted manuscripts must follow the journal’s scope, author guidelines, and ethical standards.
- The journal adopts a double-blind peer review process. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous during the review.
- Manuscripts will be reviewed by experts with relevant scientific background and research expertise.
- The Editorial Board makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection based on reviewers’ recommendations.
- Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer and editor comments within the given time.
- There will be no correspondence between authors and reviewers. All communication must go through the editorial office.
- Reasons for manuscript rejection and reviewer feedback will be communicated to the corresponding author.
- Authors must disclose any conflict of interest and ensure that all data presented are accurate and verifiable.
- Research involving humans or animals must include an ethical approval statement in the manuscript.
Peer Review Process
- The authors submit a manuscript through the journal submission system.
- The Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript meets the journal’s basic requirements.
- If suitable, the Editor-in-Chief assigns a section editor to manage the review process.
- The section editor checks whether the manuscript meets the journal’s criteria regarding topic relevance, originality, ethical compliance, structure, word count, and language quality.
- Manuscripts that meet the minimum requirements will be sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation.
- Reviewers assess the manuscript based on scientific quality, originality, and clarity, and then submit their recommendations to the section editor.
- The Section Editor communicates the review results and recommendations to the authors.
- If revisions are required, authors must revise the manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit it within the given time frame.
- The revised manuscript will be re-evaluated by the same or different reviewers to ensure the revisions are adequate. The journal allows up to two rounds of review.
- After the review and revision process is complete, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision (acceptance or rejection).
- Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting and production stages before publication.
Decisions
The Editor-in-Chief considers the reviewers’ comments and recommendations before making the final decision. The decision on each manuscript is categorized as follows:
- Accept Submission: The manuscript is accepted in its current form without the need for revisions.
- Revision Required: The manuscript is accepted conditionally, subject to minor revisions based on reviewer comments.
- Resubmit for Review: Major revisions are needed. The revised manuscript must undergo another round of peer review before a final decision is made.
- Decline Submission: The manuscript is rejected and will not be considered for publication in the journal.
