Author Guidelines

General Information

The submitted manuscript for publication to Emitor: Jurnal Teknik Elektro should be original research work that high academic merit. The article should not be published previously and not under consideration for publication in the other publisher elsewhere and free from plagiarism. All submission will be undergone similarity check using Turnitin. The manuscript that does not meet those requirements will be automatically rejected.

Please prepare your manuscript following the journal template prior the submission.

Submission criteria

Manuscript submitted for publication in Emitor: Jurnal Teknik Elektro should appropriate with the following criteria:

  • Written in good English.
  • Suitable to the scope of the journal.
  • Original article that has not been published elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any journal during the review process.
  • Well-formatted following the journal template and style.

Preparing manuscript file

Emitor: Jurnal Teknik Elektro accepts manuscript of both Research and Review article. The article should be between 8-10 pages length. The manuscript must be prepared using word processing software, e.g., Microsoft Word,  with document format doc, or docx.

Manuscript Structure

Title

Title of the manuscript must be concise and informative.

Author names and affiliation

Make sure that the author name clearly indicates the given name and family name of each author. Present the authors’ affiliation below the author names. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the name of the author’ country and email address. This also should indicate the correspondence author.

Abstract

The abstract must be concise (between 250 and 300 words), factual and should state the purpose of the research, the used methods, the principal results and main conclusion briefly. Due to the abstract is occasionally presented separately from the full article, it should be able to stand alone and should not contain references. The use of non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if necessary, they must be defined as they mentioned in the abstract body.

Keywords

The keyword should be provided immediately after the abstract. It provides a maximum of 5 words which is the keyword of the whole article. These keywords will be used for indexing purpose.

The main manuscript contents

The main body of the manuscript should contain:

  • Introduction
  • Research Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement should be provided in a separate section at the end of the manuscript before the references. It also should contain the list of those individuals or institution that provide help or funding for the research.

References

Make sure that all the cited references are listed in the reference section, and all the references in the list must be cited in the article body. The article should have at least 30 citations from the last four years. Use IEEE-style for the reference formatting

Peer review process

Emitor: Jurnal Teknik Elektro is peer-reviewed journal. All information of the peer review process is available here.

Editor Decision and Resubmission

Once we received adequate reviews report, we will send editor decision to author (see the decision here). In the case of author requested to conduct revision/resubmission, the author should resubmit within the given timeframe (or maximum 1 month if not stated). If the authors do not resubmit their revision within those time, the submission will be automatically declined.
