Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  1. Bioeksperimen receive scientific article in the scope of pure and applied Biological Sciences include Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, and other aplied science.
  2. The article has not been published or considered for publication in another journal.
  3. The substance of the text articles may be articles the results of research, studies or critical and comprehensive scientific study on important issues and current job descriptions included in the journal.
  4. Manuscripts typed on A4 paper with margins: top 4 cm, 4 cm left, right 3 cm, and bottom 3 cm. The manuscript typed with 1.5 spacing distance by at least 15 pages long manuscript pages A4 format with two collumns width: 6.5 cm and spacing: 0.99 cm.
  5. Manuscripts may be submitted directly to the editorial board or sent via e-mail editor: [email protected] or through the registers as Author in OJS's website
  6. Title of the article should be written in compact, clear, and informative sentence, preferably not more than 10 words
  7. Authors written with Times New Roman 10 pt in size, Bold, and underline without academic degree and If the author of more than one, then the super-script given numbers which will indicate the origin institution author (if the author comes from different agencies).
  8. Agency name, address, and zip code written sequence starting from the first author with Times New Roman 10 pt in size with single spacing.
  9. Email correspondence is filled email address correspondence authors are active.
  10. Abstract should be written in one paragraph not more than 200 words. Abstract should be written in bot English and Indonesian version. The abstract should be informative and state briefly the aim of the research, the principal result, and major conslusions
  11. Keywords is about five words, covering scientific and local name, research theme, and special methods which used and sorted from A to Z and each words separated by (,)
  12. The content is written by systematic research results as follows: (1) Introduction: background of the problem and research objectives, review of the literature relevant to the problem under study (15-20% of the total length of the article); (2) Methods: describes in paragraph form that contains the time and place of study, design, material / subject of research, procedures / data collection techniques, instruments, and data analysis techniques (10-15% of the total length of the article); (3) Results and Discussion: contains the results of the analysis is the answer / research issues while discussion highlighted the links between the interpretation of the results with the theory used; and (4) Conclusions, suggestions, and recommendations: presented in paragraph form of research findings which is the answer of the research's questions.
  13. Bibliography lists sources that are used as a reference in the study. Referral source at least 80% of the literature published 10 years. References used a primary source in the form of articles in scientific journals or research report (thesis, dissertation) and preferably one of them refers to the articles of this journal. Bibliography written alphabetically by the font Times New Roman 12, spacing 1, special identation hanging by 0:25 "after 12 pt. Writing conventions bibliography follow the rules of the APA (American Phsycological Association).
