Pelatihan Jurnalistik Digital Berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan bagi Siswa MTsN 1 Surakarta melalui Pendekatan Service Learning

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan jurnalistik siswa melalui pelatihan penulisan berita yang memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) secara etis dan efektif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa MTsN 1 Surakarta yang tergabung dalam ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik. Pelaksanaan program menggunakan pendekatan service learning yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran aktif, partisipatif, dan reflektif dalam konteks pelayanan edukatif berbasis teknologi. Program dirancang dalam tiga tahapan utama, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan, dilakukan pemetaan kebutuhan peserta dan koordinasi intensif dengan pihak madrasah. Tahap pelaksanaan mencakup pemberian materi jurnalistik dasar, praktik menulis berita menggunakan bantuan teknologi AI, yakni ChatGPT, serta diskusi mendalam mengenai etika dan batasan penggunaan AI dalam produksi informasi. Evaluasi dilaksanakan secara formatif selama proses berlangsung dan sumatif di akhir kegiatan, menggunakan rubrik penilaian komprehensif yang mencakup unsur 5W+1H, koherensi isi, keakuratan informasi, struktur piramida terbalik, serta efektivitas penggunaan bahasa jurnalistik. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan (p < 0,000), yang mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan berdampak positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menulis berita secara sistematis dan bertanggung jawab. Selain penguatan aspek teknis, kegiatan ini juga berhasil membentuk kesadaran etis, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta tanggung jawab sosial siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan komunikasi di era digital. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran jurnalistik dapat memperkuat kompetensi literasi digital generasi muda secara transformatif.
