Author Guidelines

Submission, Initial Assessment, and Peer Review

MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN has used an open journal system (OJS) in the process of submitting and reviewing manuscripts. Submissions must be in accordance with the Author Guidelines and uploaded to http://journals.ums.ac.id/index.php/jmp/user/register. If the manuscript does not meet the requirements, does not fit the template and cannot be downloaded properly, the manuscript will be returned to the author.

The manuscript is the original work and is independent of the author. Each new text will be assessed by one or more editors to determine the suitability of the topic with the Manajemen Pendidikan journal. Editor can reject a manuscript without a review if it has the same> 30%, educational content is insufficient, does not have clear objectives in education, the application and development of methodology is unclear, does not match the format, references are used less (minimum of 25 references) and not the latest , and the data presentation is unclear.

Please use our template in writing your submitted manuscript. The template can be downloaded here.

The Authors submitting a manuscript to MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN need to assign the Copyright Transfer Agreement Form if accepted for further publication process.
The Copyright Transfer Agreement form can be downloaded here: Copyright Transfer Agreement template here

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment stage will be provided to the Associate Editor to oversee the peer review process. All manuscripts must follow the peer review process and the author can request an explanation regarding the results of peer review within one month after the results are received. If a revision is required, the author must send the revised manuscript within 2 weeks. The final decision is taken by the Editor in Chief based on information obtained through a peer review process.

Decision type: Reject, Resend, Revise, Accept

Reject

After the peer review process, the manuscript cannot be accepted for publication in MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN and has no chance for resubmission.

Resend

The results of the peer review indicate that the manuscript was not accepted and requires major revision, however, there is clear potential in the manuscript, and MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN will consider the latest version of the manuscript. Authors can resubmit their manuscript in accordance with the results of the peer review. Submissions that have been sent back will go through the peer review stage with the same reviewer again if possible.

 Revise

The manuscript requires changes before a final decision is made. Authors must improve their texts according to comments received from reviewers and editors, and the time period given for the revision process is 2 weeks. The revised script will go through further peer review and can undergo a revision process more than once. If the authors do not revise their manuscripts then, editors can refuse the manuscript to be published in MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN.

Accept

Manuscripts can be accepted for publication in MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN depending on the final version of the manuscript. This requires sub-editing changes according to our conditions. After the final inspection, acceptance is confirmed and the paper can be forwarded to the publisher for publication.

Licensing for Data Publication

MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN use a variety of waivers and licenses, that are specifically designed for and appropriate for the treatment of data:

Other data publishing licenses may be allowed as exceptions (subject to approval by the editor on a case-by-case basis) and should be justified with a written statement from the author, which will be published with the article.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but have to be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article.
Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHubGitLabBioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODODryadDataverse, or others.
Small data may also be published as data files or packages supplementary to a research article, however, the authors should prefer in all cases a deposition in data repositories.
