The recommended duration of using gadgets for children aged 4-6 years by the American Academy of Pediatrics is no more than 1 hour per day. Using gadgets for a long duration can cause problems for children, such as increasing the risk of ADHD symptoms. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is defined as a developmental disorder characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of gadget use and the symptoms of ADHD in children aged 4-6 years. This research method is analytic observational with a cross sectional study approach. The sample in this study was 73 people selected by purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire used was the ADHD RS-5 and the gadget usage duration questionnaire. Data processing using bivariate and univariate analysis. Correlation results using the Spearman rho test obtained a value of rs of 0.427 with a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05). So it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and the symptoms of ADHD in children aged 4-6 years and has a moderate relationship because the correlation coefficient is 0.427.
