Pengaruh NMES dan Treadmill Exercise Terhadap Lower Extremity Functional pada Kondisi Post Operasi Rekonstruksi Anterior Cruciate Ligament

Post operasi rekonstruksi Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) mempengaruhi kemampuan fungsional lutut hingga menyebabkan gangguan kemampuan berjalan. Kondisi ini dapat terjadi akibat aktivitas yang berat dan overuse saat berolahraga. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh NMES dan treadmill exercise terhadap lower extremity functional pada kondisi post operasi rekonstruksi anterior cruciate ligament. Metode: Tiga belas responden dengan kondisi post operasi rekonstruksi ACL, usia 15 – 40 tahun berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Seluruh responden diberikan intervensi berupa NMES dengan arus 200 – 400 µs dan frekuensi 30 – 50 Hz. Sedangkan treadmill exercise dilakukan selama 15 menit dengan kecepatan 4 – 8 mph yang dinaikkan secara perlahan dan disesuaikan dengan toleransi responden. Hasil: Terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata LEFS sebelum perlakuan adalah 70.629 menjadi 82.163 setelah perlakuan. Sedangkan uji statistik dengan Paired Sample t-Test signifikan p<0.000. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nilai lower extremity functional pre dan post treatment pada responden dengan kondisi post operasi rekonstruksi ACL.
