Program Fisioterapi pada Cerebral Palsy: Sebuah Studi Kasus

Cerebral Palsy (CP) merupakan suatu kelainan yang menyebabkan gangguan pada gerakan dan koordinasi tubuh. Kelainan ini disebabkan oleh kerusakan pada sistem saraf pusat pada saat prenatal, perinatal, maupun postnatal. Penatalaksanan pada Cerebral Palsy dibagi menjadi medikamentosa dan non medikamentosa. Penatalaksanaan yang diberikan melibatkan berbagai disiplin ilmu dan bertujuan untuk membantu anak agar dapat aktif dan mandiri. Modalitas fisioterapi yang diberikan kepada anak dengan cerebral palsy dapat berupa Myofascial Release dan Neuro Developmental Therapy. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah melakukan terapi sebayak 4 kali terdapat penurunan spastisitas T1: 1 menjadi T4: 0, refleks primitif yang terintegrasi dan belum ada peningkatan kemampuan fungsional anak T1: 11,784% dan T4: 11,784%.
