Pengaruh Self-Efficacy Pada Treatment Fisioterapi Terhadap Kesembuhan Pasien Pasca Stroke

Pendahuluan: Salah satu penyebab kematian terbesar di dunia adalah penyakit tidak menular seperti penyakit degenerative, seperti stroke. Menurut WHO, risiko meninggal yang disebabkan oleh stroke yaitu lebih dari dua pertiga (70%) penduduk dunia. Stroke merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang sering timbul di kalangan masyarakat yang menjadi masalah serius dan bahkan dapat menyebabkan kematian. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan single subject research dengan metode case study, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap treatment fisioterapi atau intervensi yang telah diberikan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pre-test dan post-test A-B-A design dengan diberikannya treatment berupa home based exercise sebanyak 3 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu. Kesembuhan pasien diukur dengan kemampuan fungsional menggunakan Barthel index. Hasil: pengukuran kemampuan fungsional pasien mendapatkan skor 65 poin, yaitu ketergantungan moderate (60-90), pada hasil pemeriksaan post-test menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan fungsional responden mengalami peningkatan dengan perolehan skor indeks Barthel dari 65 berubah 95 yang meningkat secara signifikan menjadi ketergantungan ringan (91-95). Kesimpulan: Treatment fisioterapi diiringi self-efficacy berpengaruh bagi kesembuhan pasien, dan mampu meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan diri pasien serta menyebabkan kemampuan fungsionalnya meningkat pada penderita post stroke
