Perbandingan Dominasi Kaki Pada Saat Drop Landing Berdasarkan Gender Pada Pemain Basket Di Sma Kota Malang

Latar Belakang: Dalam olahraga basket terdapat teknik dengan cara jump, saat jump pemain juga harus memperhatikan posisi landing karena memungkinkan terjadinya cedera yang terjadi secara non-contact dan yang sering terjadi adalah Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). Mekanisme terjadi karena posisi kaki knee valgus yang membuat abduksi lutut berlebihan. Faktor gender salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap resiko cedera karena beban tumpuan yang berbeda saat melakukan landing dengan tumpuan secara dominasi kaki yang berbeda. Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian berupa observasional cross-sectional study dengan jumlah sampel 22 pemain basket Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Malang yang sudah tersaring kriteria inklusi. Alat ukur menggunakan kuisioner untuk menentukan dominasi kaki dan Frontal Plane Projection Angle (FPPA) untuk melihat derajat knee valgus saat melakukan drop landing. Analisa data menggunakan uji Shapiro-wilk, uji Paired T-test dan uji Independent T-test. Hasil penelitian: menunjukkan karakterisitik responden lebih banyak laki-laki, dominasi kaki dominan kanan, perbandingan kaki dominan dan non dominan lebih besar laki-laki daripada perempuan. Kesimpulan: penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan antara kaki dominan dan non-dominan setiap gender saat melakukan drop landing dan tidak ada perbandingan knee valgus yang signifikan pada kaki dominan dan non-dominan antara laki-laki dan perempuan saat melakukan drop landing pada pemain basket tingkat SMA di Kota Malang.
