Activity Prone Position Untuk Respirasi Pada Anak Guillain Barre Syndrome

Latar Belakang Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) meupakan suatu gangguan autoimun yang secara progresif menyerang sistem saraf perifer sehingga terjadi kerusakan pada selubung myelin pada motor neuron. Syndrome ini disebabkan oleh infeksi bakteri dan virus. Jika menyerang anak-anak mereka akan mengalami gangguan perkembangan motorik secara progresif. Gejala yang muncul pada kasus GBS adalah Progressif Flaccid Weakness dan diikuti oleh gejala penyerta seperti nyeri gangguan keseimbangan serta respiratory distress akibat weakness pada respiratory muscle.
Tujuan Penelitian Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian prone exercise pada anak Guillain Barre Syndrome dengan respiratory problem.
Metode Penelitian Penelitian ini merupakan sistematika review dengan menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) yang dilakukan secara sistematis.
Hasil Penelitian Pada beberapa literatur tedapat beberapa manfaat dari prone position yaitu untuk peningkatan oksigenasi dan penguatan otot diafragma untuk kondisi GBS dengan respiratory problem.
Kesimpulan Aktivitas dengan Prone Position efektif untuk anak penderita Guillaine Barre Syndrome dengan respiratory problem.
