Mapping the Information of Social Vulnerability of Covid-19 Pandemic in Bandung City, Indonesia

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah memperlebar kesenjangan sosial ekonomi di perkotaan Indonesia, di mana studi tentang interaksi antara faktor demografi dan kepadatan penduduk sering diabaikan. Hal ini meninggalkan kesenjangan dalam pemahaman holistik tentang kerentanan spasial. Kesenjangan ini mendesak bagi Bandung, salah satu pusat ekonomi utama Indonesia, di mana kurangnya data terintegrasi berbasis bukti menghambat upaya mitigasi terhadap dampak pandemi. Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh kebutuhan untuk mengisi kesenjangan ini dengan memetakan kerentanan sosial penduduk Bandung terhadap COVID-19. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan multi-kriteria (Analytical Hierarchy Process/AHP) dengan menggunakan empat parameter utama: kepadatan bangunan, kepadatan penduduk, lokasi potensial kerumunan, dan struktur demografi, untuk menilai tingkat kerentanan sosial. Analisis mengungkapkan bahwa enam distrik Babakan Ciparay, Batununggal, Bojongloa Kaler, Cibeunying Kidul, Coblong, dan Kiaracondong menunjukkan kerentanan sosial yang sangat tinggi. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi distribusi kasus COVID-19 dan faktor-faktor sosial ini, terutama di daerah padat penduduk dan rawan kerumunan. Oleh karena itu, studi ini menyoroti perlunya penyelarasan kebijakan untuk mengurangi kerentanan sosial dan memitigasi dampak pandemi di Kota Bandung. Studi ini juga merekomendasikan peningkatan kesadaran publik dan penguatan protokol kesehatan untuk meminimalkan risiko penularan COVID-19. Temuan ini menawarkan arahan strategis bagi pemerintah dan para pemangku kepentingan untuk mengembangkan kebijakan yang lebih efektif dalam menghadapi krisis kesehatan di masa mendatang.
