Abstract

Gumpang Village is a village that has a garden that functions as a public space for the community as well as a green space where the Gumpang village park changes with various types of vegetation planted by the people themselves. Irrigation of the garden in Gumpang Village, Kartasura which is done manually by drawing water from the river causes irrigation that is carried out by the community to be less efficient. The construction of the Waterwheel in Gumpang Village Park is intended to help the community to irrigate the garden to be more efficient than before. The waterwheel is made with an undershoot design that utilizes air currents under the waterwheel which will later move the waterwheel through oars installed under the circumference of the waterwheel.
